We first met Philippe in 2013 in the most unlikely situation. We were taking part in a bouldering competition in Mumbai during our second trip to India, while he was there to present his movie – Wild One. We kept in touch and then decided he should also come to Romania to promote it. We organized a movie night with the climbing community in Bucharest, went climbing in a couple of places nearby and promised to meet again. It didn’t take long before we had to acknowledge his DJ-ing skills at Petzl Roctrip in Prilep, Macedonia. He is tremendously fun and fearless. Now, it’s been more than three years since we last met so most likely we’ll change that this summer.
