Herculane Climbing Open celebrated its 17th edition in 2018, as the biggest and oldest outdoor climbing festival/competition in Romania. It takes place at different crags on Cerna Valley and the organisers aim at opening new routes every year. Also, in 2014, some crags were included in the Petzl Roctrip circuit throughout eastern Europe.
