At the end of July, Climb Again, an NGO that organises climbing sessions for kids and teenagers with disabilities, decided to put together an outdoor climbing festival. A couple of weeks before, Cosmin Candoi, one of their athletes, had won the world title in paraclimbing for his category (B2) in Briançon and they wanted to introduce other kids with impaired vision to outdoor sport climbing.
It was a fun and inspirational week, as they all tried to overcome obstacles and develop new skills. The younger ones also learned that they should have faith in their capacity to climb outdoors as well as to lead an independent life, despite their disabilities.
